Introduction of the structural units
Not only do we need facades and interior walls, but we also need doors, windows, and other structurals. Structurals are building elements that are part of the building. They are often installed or incorporated into the building during construction. Examples are stairs, boilers, fences, skylights, dormers, fireplaces, pillars, beams, fuse boxes, balconies and elevators.

Not every building element is positioned on the floor. With Floorplanner, the position at which the lowest point of an element starts is called RAISE FROM FLOOR.
