Introduction of rooms
You draw each floor separately in Floorplanner. If you have a house with three floors, you need to draw each floor separately. If you take a look at the 3d view, you can choose to view only the selected floor, or the selected floor and its underlying floors.
All floors consist of one or multiple spaces that are often connected.
Floorplanner helps you draw floor plans rapidly. This is what you will notice immediately once you draw any given room. When you draw walls, a floor will be added automatically.
You can draw rooms using the DRAW ROOM or DRAW WALL button.
Dimension lines
The map displays interior as well as exterior measurements.
Escape button
The escape button ends the last action.
The latter tool often remains active at the pointer. You can stop this with the escape button. The pointer then moves from a plus sign to an arrow.
